Faking Grace by Tamara LeighMy review
rating: 4 of 5 stars
Maizy Grace needs a part-time job so she applies at a Christian publishing company though she hasn't really practiced her Christianity in years. She attempts to fake her way into being a solid Christian. Meanwhile her other part-time job at the local paper wants her to reveal the steamy dark side of Christians by reporting the gossip she hears. Can she maintain her cover? Or will the Christians she work with show her what she's been missing?
Overall, I enjoyed this book and it kept me turning the pages. Fiction hasn't really been grabbing me lately, so it was nice that I actually liked this book and wanted to keep reading it.

Hi. My first time here. Wandered over from Pudgy Penguin, where I saw the chicklit challenge 09 logo - precisely one day after posting a blog about how many consider chicklit MIA to the point of being presumed dead. The link, in case you're interested:

So I'm fascinated by the founder and participants' view that apparnently, chicklit is alive and well. It's especially important to me to figure out what people think about this because I have to figure out how to describe my own manuscript once I start sending it out on submission.
I love the premise of this book. It sounds light and fun. We all have weeks that just about nothing grabs us, so I'm glad you found something that worked!
