I have a lot of books. A lot. We are moving soon and we haven't moved in almost 10 years so the accumulation is quite significant. We went through our shelves and got rid of over 12 bags of books. But we still have a lot of books left. That have to be boxed up and moved.
The upside is that I will be able to re-organize my shelves at the new place. That is always a fun project for me as I love to organize my books. I may take this opportunity to list out the books I have to make sure that my master library list is accurate and update my LibraryThing catalog. Any tips on moving with lots of book boxes?

Infidelity
It seems many books out there seem to deal with the theme of infidelity and the consequences of it. The betrayal and hurt, the learning to forgive and move on, etc. I don't know why this seems to be such a common theme. The latest book I finished dealt with this topic - A Morning Like This by Deborah Bedford. It was handled well and wasn't one of those just accept it and move on. It dealt with it in a realistic manner. The writing was excellent - I really have enjoyed the writing of Deborah Bedford's books. I've read 1 other of her books before.
Why do you think this seems to be such a common topic? Is it something that a lot of people have experienced and can relate to? Or is it a fear that many have that they will have to deal with it at some point in their lives?

Finished the What's In a Name Challenge
By finishing the book The Bishop by Steven James, I have completed the What's In a Name Challenge. This will probably be the last challenge I complete for this year. My reading has not quite been up to par lately as we have recently purchased our first home and are getting ready to move. The last several weeks have been a bit crazy with getting our mortgage application filled out etc. I've had a bit more time for reading lately as we are now in the waiting process as we wait for our closing date and the actual move. It is exciting to finally become homeowners after living in apartments for our entire marriage so far (almost 13 years).

Overcoming Fear, Worry and Anxiety by Elyse Fitzpatrick
Overcoming Fear, Worry, and Anxiety: Becoming A Woman of Faith and Confidence by Elyse FitzpatrickMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Practical book on overcoming worry and fear. The main thing that I took away from this book is that worry doesn't accomplish anything and is a waste of time. Though I may have already known that, this book drives that point home.
"Worry doesn't have the capacity to change anything."
"Our worry doesn't accomplish anything."
"When we worry we're putting our trust in our thoughts and in our ability to 'work things out' in our mind."
"When we worry, we're proudly trusting in our own strength and power...We're depending on ourselves instead."
"Do we believe that God is wise enough to know what we need and powerful enough to give it to us?"
"You can't do anything about what might happen tomorrow."
I got this book through a book rental service - Booksfree.
